During this time of the year it is so easy to lose balance in your life. The demands of the season can take its toll on our bodies and minds. Stop, take a Selah moment, and really decide what you want to do.  How do you want to spend your time?  Make a quality decision because you cannot satisfy everyone.

Don’t overeat or under eat. Make good choices and look for healthy options with your food.

Do you really have to attend every holiday dinner, party, parade or activity? Choose wisely and enjoy your time. You can’t be with everyone and do everything.

Physical activity is very important. Stretch, walk and even dance to some of your favorite songs. Being active is vital for good health.

Don’t be discouraged if you desire to give in a tangible way but feel you do not have the finances. Bake some bread, volunteer your time or just give someone a hug. It’s really the condition of your heart not the size or cost of a gift that really matters.

Rest and relax. Your temple, the body that God gave you is the only one you have. Never neglect your rest and relaxation.

Laugh out loud at least twice a day. The Bible says “A merry heart does good like medicine but a broken spirit dries the bones.” (Proverbs 17:22)

Most of all remember to spend time with the Lord each day.

Never forget….Healthy Living Equals a Healthy Life!
